I bought my 53 used a number of years ago. When I bought it I could tell the fore stock had been damaged. Blown off maybe?
Anyway, the other day when cleaning the gun the fore stock fell part where it had been glued. I was able to glue it back together but I think it is time to begin looking for a replacement.
Does anyone have a used on they want to sell, or know of where I can get one?

shiloh may have them for you. If not go to the N-SSA web sight someone may have one. or see if one of the sutlers has one. Ive seen a few when at the nationals in Va.
